Astrology is a system based on interpreting the position of celestial bodies at specific moments, most commonly the time and place of a person’s birth. It works with the idea that planetary placements correspond with traits, tendencies, and life patterns—astrology doesn’t claim a causal link but reads planetary movement as symbolic reflections. It’s not the same as astronomy: while astronomy is a natural science, astrology is more of a psychological and interpretive framework. Astrology uses charts, angles, and signs to build a narrative about character and timing, and has been practiced for thousands of years across many cultures.
